Roco Kingdom Money Farming: Coins Without the Grind

Earn Roco Kingdom coins efficiently: one-time coin drawers, repeatable pickup routes, daily commissions and the purchases worth saving for.

Last Updated: 2026-10-27

Roco Kingdom's coin economy is front-loaded. A handful of one-time drawers and story rewards give you a large opening balance, while repeatable income is modest and spread across dailies, gathering and surplus captures. Players who spend the opening balance on cosmetics run out exactly when the story asks for a real purchase.

This guide covers the income streams, a short farming loop and the purchases worth saving for. Amounts come from the Chinese launch version and are CN-specific; the global beta can change them.

Where coins come from

Source Effort Repeatable Best use
One-time coin drawers Low No Opening balance
Seaside ruin pickups Medium Yes, reportedly respawns Steady supplement
Daily commissions Low Daily Routine income
Gathering and selling surplus Medium Yes Between quests
Boss and challenge rewards High Weekly Material + coin combo
Releasing duplicate Jinies Low Yes Inventory cleanup
Season pass missions Medium Seasonal Bulk reward

The one-time drawers are the reason a new player feels rich. In the Chinese version, reports describe a drawer in Peter's Avenue worth roughly 990,000 coins, a cocoa exchange in Cocoa Square, and a castle drawer containing King Balls. Treat the exact numbers as CN-version trivia, not a global promise.

The 15-minute coin loop

  1. Collect mail and daily commission rewards.
  2. Harvest home crops and claim home commissions.
  3. Do one gathering route with a mount that has a gather-range trait.
  4. Pick up respawning coins along the coast or ruins.
  5. Release duplicate captures you do not need.
  6. Check the pass mission list for a claimable coin reward.

This is not a get-rich-quick loop. It is the difference between entering a new region with 20,000 coins and entering with 80,000.

Gather while you travel

Mounted gathering is automatic in the Chinese version, and some Jinies expand the gather radius. A traversal mount with that trait turns every story walk into income without an extra activity.

The opening balance decision

The first big coin decision is whether to spend the opening balance on:

  • Bag space or storage. A permanent quality-of-life upgrade that saves time every session.
  • A story-required purchase. Some quests ask for a payment; check before you spend.
  • A mount or traversal upgrade. Good if it removes a real bottleneck.
  • Cosmetics. The worst early purchase, because the functional options are still cheap.

Do not spend the entire opening balance on the first NPC that offers a shiny item. In the Chinese version, players are warned not to burn the roughly 990,000-coin drawer early; the same principle applies even if the global number is different.

What to save for

Late-game costs are lumpy. Keep a reserve for:

  • Awakening materials or the coin portion of an awakening.
  • Breeding projects that need a specific parent.
  • Skill upgrades or nature changes that use coins as a secondary cost.
  • A limited event vendor with a useful item.

A useful rule: keep one region's worth of expenses in reserve. If a new region's story asks for a purchase, you should not have to stop and farm for an hour.

What not to farm

  • Repeating a wild battle after the species is registered. The experience is small and the coin drop is not worth the Vitality.
  • A boss you cannot clear. A failed attempt costs more than a low-tier clear.
  • Selling materials you will need for awakening. Check the upgrade list before you liquidate.
  • Farming in the beta for launch. The wipe deletes the balance.

Coins vs other resources

Coins are the flexible currency; they are not the bottleneck. The real gates are Vitality, magic dust, rare balls and breeding time.

That means the correct question is not "how do I get more coins" but "which bottleneck am I actually hitting". If you have coins and no dust, farming more coins does nothing. The resource planning guide maps the bottlenecks.

A weekly money plan

Day Action Expected result
Monday Claim pass and commission backlog Lump sum
Tuesday Seaside pickup route Steady supplement
Wednesday Boss clears Materials plus coins
Thursday Release duplicates Inventory space and coins
Friday Home harvest and commissions Routine income
Weekend Gathering while exploring Passive income

Do not run the loop every day if you do not need coins. Spend the time on story or PvP instead; the loop is a tool, not a habit.

Where to go next

Spend the coins with the resource planning guide; the breeding guide covers egg costs; the daily routine keeps income steady.

FAQ

What is the fastest way to get coins? The one-time drawers and story rewards give the largest opening balance. After that, daily commissions and a short pickup route are the best time-to-coin ratio.

Should I spend coins on cosmetics? Not early. Buy functional upgrades first, especially storage and traversal.

Do coins carry into launch? No. The beta wipes, including currencies.

Is there trading? Direct player trading is not confirmed for the global build. Co-op sharing and friend systems are the reliable social economy for now.
